Blue Solace is a unique pairing indeed. Nathan is in the U.S. and Mahal is in the Philippines.

It started with Nathan asking for a musician to put some notes to some of his lyrics in a forum, and then Mahal popped up and volunteered. That's how "December" came about. They collaborated on the song through email messages, and eventually Mahal put her own unique touches all over it and the result is what you hear now.

Later, Nathan was feeling ambitious, and suggested they pair up again and do an acoustic set for CD and digital distribution. It sounds crazy, but it just might be crazy enough to work.

Only time will tell.
