BluesmasterJr is the last and final guitarist of the late great BIG JOE DUSKIN and his blues band and is a Cincinnati,Ohio native.He has heavy emphasis on jazz,blues,rock, and other forms as wes montgomery and jimi hendrix and john Mclauglin and has know to a form of soloing known as (Mclaughlinism) and using many forms of settings to achieve a range of sounds and shapes in his solos and differs very from others and is know to pulsate as hendrix( playing how you feel and when). Started playing guitar at the age of 10 to present day has landed him to meet some of the most important musicians of our time and from radio to tv. He has influences mainly from hendrix and wes montgomery,b.b. king,big joe duskin and buddy guy and george benson to T- walker to name a few as there are many to list. His work can be found here,on blackplanet and it's artist section,msn and facebook(different name).Bluesmasterjr does live shows in hyde park cincinnati,ohio once monthly and frequent the music stores in springdale,florence ky and indianapolis and sometimes cleveland,ohio and love to entertain people with a variety of tunes such as (misty,the girl from impanema)shadow of your smile,all blues,round midnight,ect.). He will be working on an esemble soon,but for now he is solo with a new direction. He mixes wes mongomery and jimi hendrix to his material as wes did with both charlie christian and (bird) parker,The only thing is wes and jimi innovated the guitar and left a legacy and bluesmasterjr honors them both. And so,should you decide to listen enjoy.
