I had a 6 foot one munch on my gun half way up last Saturday... They may eat fish but so does every other shark and there's been 70+ deaths directly attributed to them so ill be watching my back lol

Never heard of it being a 'law', its certainly recommended by the USFA and club policy though. It maybe law to use bouys in areas of high boat traffic but then it would be common sense anyway and areas of high boat traffic like harbours your not allowed to spear in anyway

Ive got a vid of an 8kg cuttle fish I shot of Toowoon Bay, NSW but I wouldnt post it on YouTube cause the bublies hate pple shooting them... I agree that their pretty amazing creatures but so are kingfish and both are extremely tasty!

We went off fish rock and that other rock crop south off it last month but there was only a few small kingfish about and a lot of grey nurse... water was 18-20deg but still hoping to give it another go closer to summer...
