I had a criminal law practice for 14 years which I gave up because I got tired of witnessing the limitless capacity of people for pointless stupid cruelty. I had a front row seat to some really evil shit and what is worse I had to defend it while the bastards cried on my shoulder. Now I work with people who are ill, disabled or elderly. I am also an elected labor union officer. It might not be as prestigous but I feel good about doing my job at last.
