Though I never 'clicked' with Gabrielle, I liked how "Al" was shown the reason why she had to die (though we never found out what that reason was).

TPTB should have used Albert's accidental cause of the burning down of the blind school as his reason for getting addicted to morphine.

The show should have ended at the end of Season Eight-----and DEF needed to end here. Ironically, Edith doesn't have too long to live by this time (when it becomes "Archie Bunker's Place").

Very good. CB blew it when they killed off Cherry White, though. For me it was never the same again.

A shame that Jenny was killed off in an avalanche years later (offscreen). Her body was never found, but she stayed dead. When Viki went to Heaven the second time, she never saw Jenny-----so she may still be alive. Sadly, with the cancelation of OLTL, we'll never know.....

It is a shame that Mitch, Victor, and Irene returned from the dead------that totally nullified this great storyline.

@E101ification Thanks for the info. Female One was more scary, but Female Two was more feminine. Does anyone know why the actress that played Female One didn't reprise the role? I am glad that BW wrote the backstory to the Female in the "Hellbound" novella.

Oh, I knew that she was a she even in the first movie. Now whether or not they are the same female is up to viewers' minds.

@mark40511 Well, there are a lot of beloved characters that didn't make it as starring roles. Like the Ropers, Flo, Phyllis, et al. Sometimes ensemble characters don't work when they are alone., but sometimes they do. You never know.

What's with the dislikes? This is a very powerful short film. Gawd, peeps are tacky to put the dislikes on. Oh well-----like Sharon Needles cares! Rock on, La Needles!

Irna Phillips killed off Kathy as a "FU" when she left the show. People were so angry about Kathy's death that IP actually had to issue a nationwide statement saying that life is not always plesant and tragic death is all around you.

This was a terrible storyline. I always wondered why TPTB got rid of the character of Melinda. Sadly, Melinda was killed off in the end.

TPTB made a good decision to have Megan die. No one could have replaced her. THANK GOD they finally killed off Sarah in the end! This recast didn't last too long.

Just a terrible way to end the show.

OK-----so Viki doesn't believe Tina about seeing Megan's ghost------yet she supposedly went to Heaven and saw all of her dead relatives in '87 (and then AGAIN many years later).

@amylh322 Along with Gabrielle's ghost, Luna & Megan are going to or have already made an appearance. Tina got a great send-off a few weeks ago as she and Cord finally married for good as Tina changed her schemeing ways.

It is totally believable that this Julie grew up to be Susan Seaforth Hayes (thus ignoring Julie #02 & #03). Also, this Addie's facial bone structure and Kristian Alfonso's match, so she could easily have been Hope's mother.

BTW - does anyone know why John Clarke refused to even make a cameo return for Mickey's death? Mickey's #02, #03, and #04 were horrific.
