mandolin+ 6-string+ 12-string? I WANT ONE!

all in all very good technique...sounds very close to the original. Only one problem....his guitar was out of tune! Not by much but if you've listened to a guitar for as long as I have, you know!

of course the only people who will get to camouflage their tanks will be the paying customers.....the poor people who can't pay to play will be stuck with the tanks that stick out like a sore thumb...might as well issue us neon signs!

@GETTYSBURGbook is that the one that has time travel and the Confederates using AK-47's ? if so that's literary tripe! I don't know about anyone else but I never cared much for any sort of 'Twilight Zone' treatment of the Civil War. To me that's too much like messing with people's religion! JMHO!

@Gitfidlpickr I am originally from Pennsylvania and had no fewer that 15 relatives that served in the Union Army. That is part of the reason that I became a Civil War reenactor.

My good friend Byron is a veteran of the 95th...He doesn't talk about it much so that tells me two things....1. He is a very humble man who feels that they were just doing their duty and...2. He went through Hell! Hats off to all the brave men of the 95th!!

I don't know if anyone else caught this but the one scene with the P-47's with the red nose & tails....those were the famed 'Tuskeegee Airmen'!

@rob9641 Good point. The dialogue created by a writer in a work of historical fiction is drawn largely on their knowledge of the period...customs, manners, way of speaking. What they then try to do is blend that with what has been written by the people who were involved and left a written record....

The chords for this aren't that difficult...Em, Am & B7. The strum and chord changes are the tricky part. I'm still working that part out! Hope this helps....I gave up on the lyrics, my Spanish sucks!

What a beautiful song, sung by someone with such a beautiful voice. It's not often you find someone who can sing a song like this a capella. Would have been even more beautiful if she had sung it in Gaelic (oh well, guess I can't have everything! LOL!)

Outstanding video..captures all of the major parts of the battle. I was in command of the left section of Confederate artillery at this battle. We won.....again!

This is a heavy metal version of an old Irish tune.....I like the way the music sounds but it sort of takes away from the story that is being told. The old way is better for that!
