Don't do shots any can do with a little luck, do shots only few can do with alot of skill.
What the community thinks Trickshotting is is something that's gotten completely corrupt. Trickshotting started as, and is intended to be, a showcase of skill. Sure distance nosc's are entertaining, but it's consistency that earns respect, not luck. And luck, by nature, is sporadic. Consistency only comes with actual skill, so why not try to showcase that?
People now think that spinning on the ground is actually trickshotting, and that the farther your nosc goes, the better a player you are.... no. Distance isn't skill, distance is luck. Skill is what you DO in the air to get to that nosc.
Make a name for yourself from how good you are, not how lucky you get, or how many times you can spin on the ground. Spinning on the ground isn't skill, nor is it Trickshotting, because the two go hand in hand... or at least they should. Anyone can do anything on the ground, it's what you do in the air that actually counts.
Oh yeah, and Parkour is NOT Trickshotting, it's literally just a bad excuse to NSL. It doesn't take skill, it's not cool, and it needs to stop. REAL climbers are done by jumping at something, spinning in the air and grabbing it, while in the air. Not by walking up to something (while NSL'ing) and hitting A on the ground.
Set yourself apart from others by doing things in the air that they can't, not by hitting a farther crane shot than them.... and hopefully we'll rebuild this community into something that showcases the people with true talent, not the people who think they're good because they do their spins on the ground and get lucky.
