Actually this is the double track version. In the old days they didn't have fancy machinery to simulate double tracking and it had to be done by the artist singing twice. The second time over his own vocals. This is Version Two, cut 3 from the EMI archives, Nice work finding it.

Just some advice. A lot of people are going to do dubstep mixes. In order to stand out you will need a killer bassline. This track sounds like a lot of others remixes I have heard. Just my two cents. Good luck,.

Its a shame that the best we can do about the vocals is a Craig Vanity DIY filter. I have attempted to remaster the DIY version but it ends up dirty and sounding like a basement demo. I hope one day they leak to studio version of the acapella. LOL.

The problem with autotune is that it snaps on notes that technically don't exist in the vocal track. You can play around with it but it never hits the same notes twice. Especially if the vocals are LIVE studio produced. The best way to autotune is to use as few of the snap chords it tries to use ...

@iFilmmak3r at 1:08 there is a chord change which is 1/2 off. The proper key for this track is A3–E♭–D5. This sounds more like B3 or 4. Not all the parts are off. I would say the strings are ok, but the synthlines in parts are not quite right.

This should be in one of those Aflac commercials. The the pitched vox "Wah" sounds a lot like a quack. LOL. besides, they fired the duck.
