bluechild is a band. Rock and Roll to be sure, but also something pretty.Something blue. Formed in 1999 in Calgary, bluechild has continually evolved to achieve it's current line-up,which has been firm since 2002. In the summer of 2004 the band re-located to Vancouver to further focus their career.bluechild believes in music and all of it's transcendental and restorative qualities,demonstrated by their live shows which (for the devout) are more purging than a visit to a faith healer.Since arriving in Vancouver the band has been sharing evenings with audiences at many different venues,more recently they have been hard at work recording,mixing and producing a new e.p.,which will soon be released along with their first music video for"arms crossed, knees bent".2006 brings much anticipation.stay tuned.
