Where to start.
Hi we're Zydian, a rock 'n roll band based in Louvain.
We'll start at the beginning by introducing ourselves
The latest addition to the band, Tim Vandermeulen, he play's the bass he just joined us last year. We met him by luck, Fred just took a seat next to him at the KUL. The two started talking. When he found out he was a bass player, he knew what to do. So back in 2006 he joined the band. The word even says he can sing a little bit.(plays an LTD B-155 bass, a basic stagg bass through a london city bass amp. uses Boss FX)
Next we've got Frederik Herregods, our lead shredding guitarist. He's the founder of the band. actually just the one that came up with the idea. Teamed up with simon in 2005.( Plays a Gibson Les Paul standard, a Kramer pacer custom I and an Ibanez 2550EX through a Marshall JCM 900, uses Boss & Dunlop FX)
Than there's the guy beating those things in the back. Bram Smeets. With his fetish for Zildjian cymbals, Tama drums( but he actually plays a Mapex drum but with a Lars Ulrich snare, no worries it's just a matter of time.) and his flawless sense of rythm. He's vital for the band (actually just because the reheasal studio is at his place!)
And last but not least we've got Simon, some say his right nipple has the shape of the Gibson custom daimond logo, and that the stain on his guitar is put there by the devil himself in order to make him play better. All we know is that he plays some guitar and can sing a bit.
So now that you know who we are I'm going to tell something about our music. Now what can you expect from this little band? Well lots of Db and a lot of grunt. In some time we'll add some songs to this page and you will be able to hear what it sounds like.
