Yo man got exact same laptop as you except mine got a 640GB hdd, but just wanted to say these laptops are beast i havnt found anything wrong with it yet and it can play everything i throw at it - even crysis with everything on high hooked up to a full hd tv via the hdmi

Actually, I was contemplating buying the Aspire 5740, but I ended up buying the Gateway NV5926u simply because it looked nicer in my opinion...
It turns out it has the EXACT same specs as the 5740... for the same price...
