Hi riffguy, that was awesome.
I jam with a few mates on small amps...they say there is nothing like standing in front of a marshall stack and letting go!
I play this clip out loud to my neighbors too!
If you are ever in Sydney, Australia, I'll buy you a beer !Just a pile of musical slop for guitar lovers.
Hi GUITseeker. Thanks for your comments !
Zoom505 approx 2001 model. I did the foot-switching while my son concentrated on playing. I think we just cranked up all the settings. The amp is an old Australian tube amp branded Jason (late 1960's...similar components to VOX AC30) and with treble turned up giving a nice clean tone on picking, and emphasizes distortion. Guitar is 1981 Ibanez Blazer. Used the neck pickup which has a non-standard humbucker fitted. Hope that helps...regards, blondetube
This clip is a gem.
I have a DVD in much higher quality (still Black & White) without David's introduction.
Michael's scarf is cool and suggests cold weather...now that I know this was filmed in Sweden that makes sense.
Also on the DVD are are other early beauties such as "Times they are a changing", "Turn turn turn" with the spiral background, and "All I really want to do" +plus some later stuff such as "Chestnut Mare" and some some songs from a late 1980's reunion concert.
