I like most movies.
Music:
George Michael is my favorite singer. Grew up in his music. I love the 80's music because I was a young kid then; nostalgic. Garth Brooks became the first Artist I connected with at my young adult age. TU-PAC and Metallica and Queen were like my East and West with a kick, while Country and Pop were my North and South. My parents influenced my ears with Elvis, The Tokens, Louie Armstrong, Neil Diamond, Dolly Partton, Richie Velans, and so on and so on. Those were my center of gravity, again extremely nostalgic because of the memories. I always find something wonderful in all categories of music.
Books:
The Grapes of Wrath, Tuesday's With Morrie, Skipping Christmas, The Green Mile, The Notebook, Still Me (Christopher Reeve). The short story "The Winter Father" by Andre Dubus, many Ernest Hemingway short stories and John Steinbeck. I'm extremely picky with my books. I need to give a new author a try... I read a little faster than the stoppage of time and a book can change you if it's devoured slowly.
