I was becoming very annoyed with the Video titled 'The English are Germans the Welsh are real Britons', made by an Irishman named numpty1972 (need I say more), so decided to make a counter video as he was censoring my comments, as well as many other Englishman's comments I'm sure, by not approving them.
First of all I don't claim the English are complete 100% pure British (the Welsh aren't for starters and don't even get me started on the Scots claim who are a hybrid of Gael, Pict, Briton, Saxon and Viking yet somehow are perceived as being Celts?), but it is our dominating gene which has been proven by Stephen Oppenheimer and Bryan Sykes, two well respected geneologists. Why didn't Channel 4 make a report about their findings you may ask? Well the answer is simple, the left wing media and government try and promote the idea that the English are immigrants to these shores as in turn this condones mass immigration and multi-culturalism.
The English, as well as Irish, Scots and Welsh are descended from the first settlers to these shores in the Stone Age, around 8000BC. These people were from the Iberian peninsula and were related to modern day Basques. Were they Celtic? No! The Celtic culture arrived in Britain around 500BC, whether by force or otherwise we are not sure, just as we aren't 100% sure on the culture before the Celts arrived. The Celtic language and culture was then dominant in Britian, until the Romans arrived who Latinised things a little. After they left the Anglo-Saxons arrived from modern day North Germany, Denmark and Holland...legend has it that these people killed all the Celticized-Romanised Britons and chased the remainder into Wales, this theory is wrong. For some reason it seems feasible to believe the Britons assimilated into the Celtic culture in a friendly non-violent way, however very unfeasible to be of the belief that the Britons in England assimilated into an Anglo-Saxon culture in a similar way. Let's not mess around and pretend the Anglo-Saxons arrival was a tea party, back then were pretty torrid times and bloodshed was a popular past time for both Celts and Germanics. How many Anglo-Saxons arrived? We can't be sure but they would have been outnumbered by the Britons. Why did they take over then? Because the Britons were in the middle of civil unrest and squabbling with one another. This gave the Saxons the perfect opportunity to take over the ruling classes and stamp their authority over the natives. This is proven by the kingdoms of the Britons being astonishingly similar to that of the Anglo-Saxons, basically the Saxons took over them and rebranded the kingdoms.
Many like to think of the English as invaders and so the brave Celtic cousins of Scotland, Ireland and Wales unite against a common enemy. Come again, aren't these the same Picts (Scots) and Gaels (Irish) who were looting and tormenting the Britons from the North hence why the Anglo-Saxons were invited over in the first place, for protection...some cousins eh?!
Well why is there an East-West and South-North gradual divide between Britain concerning geneology where the 'native' British genes differ from the 'immigrant' Germanic genes? The Germanic genes in England are most prevalant on the East coast. Okay, this is due to the Vikings and the Saxon invasions right? No, these genes pre-date the Saxon and Viking invasions and can be traced back to when there was a land bridge between Britain and continental Europe, some believe that the Germanic language was brought over by these early settlers and this is one of the reasons why there is little remnants of Celic placenames in these areas, Celtic words in the English language and little Celtic culture in these areas opposed to the West of England, this is very very debateable however!
Basically, in my opinion, the English do have an obvious Germanic influence in terms of culture, language and indeed DNA, however we are not immigrants to these shores, we are predominantly indigenous.
I hope I have made things a little clearer and welcome any comments from Welsh, Scots or Irish regarding this subject whether you agree or disagree, but I won't censor your comments or try and silence you like numpty1972 does!

La marcha real ("The Royal March") is the national anthem of Spain. It is one of the few national anthems in the world to have no official lyrics.
The origins of the anthem, one of the oldest in the world, are unknown. The melody was first printed in a document dated 1761 and entitled Libro de Ordenanza de los toques militares de la Infantería Española (The Spanish Infantry's Book of Military Bugle Calls), by Manuel de Espinosa. Here it is entitled La Marcha Granadera ("March of the Grenadiers"), though no composer's name is given.
In 1770, King Carlos III declared the Marcha Granadera to be the official "Honour March", thereby according it a place at public and ceremonial events. Because it was always played at public events attended by the royal family, Spaniards soon came to regard the Marcha Granadera as their national anthem and called it the Marcha Real, or "Royal March".
Under the Second Spanish Republic (19311939), El Himno de Riego replaced La Marcha Real as the national anthem of Spain. At the conclusion of the Civil War, however, dictator Francisco Franco restored La Marcha Real as the country's national anthem, under its old title of La Marcha Granadera.
