Blastin' Sounds, also known as multi-instrumentalist and everyday musical genius Harry Bates, is an artist with a message. And, in contrast to many of his peers, the message this native of Cincinnati, Ohio brings is one of peace.

The lead single 'Throw Down Your Weapons' is a classic example of what Blastin' Sounds is all about. His fusion of a soul temperament with rock guitar stylings is unique in the modern musical landscape. While the lyrics preach a simple message of tolerance that is yet to be heard in much of the worlds. It is a powerful and moving track, but also one that is as funky as anything you are likely to come across.
The same message of spreading love through joy and music can be heard in 'Why Can't There Be Peace On Earth' - a track that, fittingly, Bates has issued as a free download from his website www.blastinsounds.com.
Another side to this multi-layered artist's musical personality can be found on 'I'm Still In Love With Y-O-U' and 'Are You The Angel of Love'; two love ballads showing the different sides to that most beautiful and sad of all the emotions. Both songs, lyrically and musically, are handled with aplomb by Blastin' Sounds. While his funky, rhythmic abilities are perfectly showcased on the brilliant 'Nile Moon' - a journey through Bates' musical heritage and on into the future.

You have got to Hear and See, BLASTIN SOUNDS, HB is truly Blastin Sounds, with his music. His early influences, were Motown, Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire, The Mahavishnu Orchestra and the Man with the Guitar, Mr. Jimi Hendrix.
His FIRST SOLO, release, entitled, "Experience HB", will be out this summer. The first single, will be "Too Busy Thinking About My Baby", a Love Song, about a man madly in love with his woman. "Groove To The Beat", is the second single release, Get Up Out Of Your Seat, and Dance To The Beat, it's a World Party. Ain't Too Proud To Beg, is the third single to be released, anyone who has betrayed their lover, can relate, that they are not, Too Proud To Beg, to obtain forgiveness.
The fourth single is: If Lovin You, Is Wrong, a married man is having an affair with another woman, even though he has a family at home. The follow up single is: Ain't No Woman, Like The One I Got, a man proclaims his woman, is above all other in this song, "I would kiss the ground she walks on". Blastin Sounds, brings down the house, with, "Who's Crying Now", you can feel the intensity of Blastin Sounds.
