you can also for lighting underneath,dig a 2-wide 2-deep hole at the base of the stairs in and put 2 torches with glass on top. plenty of lighting for the lower level with no light reaching the upper level.

after the first go, so long as you try to repeat the code in succession, you can hit 421234 the first time, then 21234 the rest of the times because it wont reset the first torch after the success. any way to fix that?

Thinking of starting an LP channel. I would be restricted (at the moment) to games I can play on my computer with emulators, or just PC games that I have. So that puts me at anything up to N64/PSX era, unless of course there is a good PS2 emulator out there I haven't seen yet (please let me know if there is).
Some of the games I was thinking about recording (I know its a lot of FF stuff):
Final Fantasy (NES)
Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)
Final Fantasy VIII (PSX/PC)
Note: already started, but can restart
Crystalis (NES)
Mega Man X/X2/X3 (SNES)
Vandal Hearts II (PSX)
Paper Mario Blind (N64)
LoZ: Ocarina of Time Master Quest Blind (N64 rom)
If this gets going, I would be up for requests, but I would prefer not to do blind runs to start.

i dont think i ever got past this part without save-stating, and that was even with turning around and freezing the SA-X every 3 seconds to avoid damage. (you forgot that btw :-p)
