@differentfacets Crates are only cruel if you lock your dog up for hours. If treated properly crates can be quite relaxing for dogs. AND....less cruel than letting a naughty puppy chew up an electrical wire

@jadeyes914 Smooth collies tend to shed really bad once a year...and most have an insane shed when their about 18months old. NIGHTMARE! gta love them though =)

I'm getting another Smooth in a few weeks, my friend lives on a farm and her father-in-law has been training border collies to herd forever...I'm tempted to ask him to help me train a smoothie...whether he's up for the challenge is another thing!
