Blaine you are the man! Your Blog really help me out a lot regarding Windows Movie Maker. I'll have to send you a PM because explaining my issue could be lengthy. Regardless it worked and THANK YOU. You weren't lying when you said to use 64bit software for a 64bit machine. 32 bit software truly does not act like it should on this advanced architecture.

@PaulVAshley, download a converter (like Freemake Video Converter) and turn those incompatible files into .wmv format.

@wisehiker, if ShaderTFX is working fine, then there is nothing more needed. You must have already had the appropriate DirectX runtimes.
