My laugh echos through the room
I may seem warm and bright
But what you don't know is
I cried myself to sleep last night
My smile is a mockery
Of how I feel inside
I said- "I'm ok."
But dont you know I lied?
My eyes may be sparkling
But that is acting too
The crying will soon come back
And the tears are all for you
Are you blind?
How could you not see?
You say I'm this. You say I'm that
Do you even know me?
I'm sick of people telling me
Who I am and what I'm not
You may beileve my little stunt
But that's just covering it up
So who am I?
Wouldn't you like to know
One of these days
Will be the end of my show
What will you think
Of the girl you never knew?
She is very alone
Now thats our first clue
The second clue is easy
Every night she sulks in bed
And thinks "What if?"
Pondering inside her head
The third clue is
Her heart has bled for days on end
Screaming in agony
Since it will not mend
So who is this girl?
Can't you tell she's depressed?

Who would've guessed?
Not you, not him, nor her
So open your eyes
This is me.
Now do you see through my disguise?
