I used to really like doing special effects and still do but over the years I found that my favorite part of movie making was creating props. Even back in college I found myself drawn to the prop aspect of film production. I spend a lot of my time making props for film and private collectors. Since starting my business over 10 years ago I've been leaning more toward teaching and now that I am getting the hang of You tube I thought that this would be a great platform to bring my knowledge to anyone who was interested.
When I was younger the Internet wasn't quite what it is today so learning on my own was very difficult. Once I had gotten to college I had already learned a bunch but it wasn't easy with just books (they leave a lot out in between photos) and VHS videos were really expensive at the time. So long story short I hope as time goes on I will have amassed a very comprehensive How to on all thing relating to Special Effects and prop building and all free to anyone who wants to learn.
If anyone ever wants to see a video on how to do something that I have not gotten around to or have not thought of feel free to send me a message and I will be more than happy to get it on the list.
One last thing I also have a movie forum that is looking for some deadicated horror film addicts to help out.
