Yo D.Dub! So I gather that you should get the type of shell that suits how you want to tune each drum. For example, maybe a Standard shell for a 13" tom if you wanna tune it sort of high and maybe an X or VLX for a floor tom if you like to tune it quite low. Would you say this is the idea? Would ...

@HomesliceDrummer Nice! How would you describe the sound of the VLX shell for a snare? Could you describe it compared to VLT and Standard? I know the shell would basically resonate at a lower pitch but are there any other qualities that you can describe?

Guitar and bass are a little quiet in the mix I'm hearing. Or maybe the vocal could just come down a bit. Sounds a little weird. Sweet anyway, though.

@danzigking Judging by photos of the double Raptor it looks like you can't convert it to two singles. Not many pedals can do that. The Trick Pro 1 V is the only one I can think of.

Maybe it's because I had the spring tension somewhat low but the Cobra Coil was bringing the footboard back faster than the beater, creating slack in the chain and causing a clunking/clicking feeling. @ACompetitiveHalo He had his left foot over the left kick pedal AND the hihat at the same time. I think he was "leading" with his left foot too, so he was playing 8th notes starting on the 1 with the left kick and hihat simultaneously and playing between those 8th notes with the right kick.

Whoa The intro I used to see when I watched this show must've been the trimmed down version. The stuff on the plane and the part with the "walkman": We never even used to see those parts.

Holy snap! I'd love a pair of 15" Quick Beats. I have 14's and I'd love to have the 15's too. I didn't know they ever made 15" Quick Beats. Could I get a new pair of these?? or do they not make them anymore at all?
