The Blackout Crew consist of six MC's: Viper, Cover, Rapid, Dowie, Zak K and Dubble and four DJ's: Saha, Jonezy and Siddy B. Aged between 19 and 21 this young entourage have worked hard to establish themselves as the pinnacle of MC's in the northern UK dance scene.

Formed in 2005 at Harmony Youth Project Bolton the young group began to write and record tracks and make mix CD's. The peer group excelled massively and under guidance from Harmony Youth Project staff including industry dj's, producers, mc's and vocalists the recordings originating from their base became massively popular among young people. This success began to spread across the north-west firstly with appearances at youth events then appearances at Lush under 18's events locally, then nationally. Fast becoming a brand 'The Blackout Crew' MC's were beginning to exceed their peers and idols performing at big events alongside dj's such as Alex K, Lee Butler and Rob Cain.
