Hadn't had that profound a loss of someone he loves until he's an adult? I hope Simon's aware of the blessing that is. Not many people can say that. Glad to know talent and ability to act with the voice is getting back into Disney/Pixar's repertoire. I was ecstatic hearing Donna Murphy was doing Gothel. She's more known for her stage work than in films but she did not disappoint! Brava!

God! What was done with the sets and props from this film? Not only the epic size of the film; the scandal of her and Burton during the making and now her passing . . . the props would fetch a handsome price in auctions. (Just in case anyone at Fox is listening).

How telling that as he staggers up the stone steps . . . there's the tree. Less is more---Hollywood, pay attention. Michael Ansara was wonderful in this scene. Victor Mature, always great to watch in these biblical epics.

Dale was a wonderful Christine. Mary D'Arcy was her 'alternate' in Los Angeles before leaving to open either Chicago or Toronto I don't recall, so she's not exactly the ONLY Christine in LA.
