History
Originally founded in July 29, 2007 as AP Productions, making documentary and educational film, however all archives from the computer servers is considered lost. Founded again in January 20, 2008 as APJ Pictures Inc, all its equipments were rented from other studios, notably Royce Studios, AER Productions and Exanimo Films. Its first film was the Florante at Laura, with a staggering budget of 2000Php, so high for a school project. The studio makes two more films, The Grandson and The Grandson 2, notable a parody of the famous Paramount movie, The Godfather, and The Godfather 2 respectively. The company shuts down for four months after renovations and upgrading of equipments was done. Renovation and upgrade cost, 165000Php, most of it were equipments such as Movie Cameras, Tripods, and Laptops. The company made its first super production film (term for high budget film as a school project), the film Overload, with 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures, tops the score sheets of the critics. Last September 25, 2010, APJ Pictures announced that it will release 10 short films for 2011. APJ Pictures Inc. is be open for production and post-production services.
