In the summer of 1998, two struggling artists, felt the urgency to create a clothing line that truly reflected inner-city life of Detroit. They wanted to provide a product that expressed the concerns of the hoods in Detroit as well as nationwide. With that vision in mind, blackfokapparel-detroit was born. Blackfokapparel has continued to provide innovative, thought-provoking designs that have proved to be popular amongst the public.
