Black Dog Recording Studio is a full-service professional recording studio located in Stillwater, NY. The studio features a vintage Sphere console paired with Barefoot monitors and a diverse collection of vintage microphones and instruments.
3 Isolation rooms and a specially-designed live room are outfitted with everything you need to make legendary music.

We created Black Dog with two goals: to provide artists, bands, producers and engineers with the space and tools they need to make amazing music, and to offer high-quality professional recording and mixing services to clients with an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. Our facility was specially designed by Larry DeVivo of Silvertone Mastering Inc. to replicate the acoustic design of classic studios while adding modern features that today's artists and engineers require. The result is a versatile 26'x19x'16' live room, 3 isolation rooms, and a large and comfortable control room equipped with the latest studio technology.

Our staff is committed to making your recording experience productive and enjoyable.
