We are a dedicated organization striving year after year to bring together blossoming authors and avid readers together at our annual expo and other literary events in the Southern California area. We were named the 2010 Literary Event of the Year by the African-Americans on the Move Book Club.

The L.A. Black Book Expo is a community oriented literary event held every year in Los Angeles. We feature prominent authors, panel discussions regarding how to publish a book to speaking on subjects of the day as written by our speakers in attendance.

The expo also features a children's corner, poetry and spoken word readings, and attracts dozens of exhibitors across the United States. Our mission is to increase the joy of literacy for our young people and to provide a fun family event for everyone to enjoy.
