Religion was created because man did not understand why things were happening and they could not scientifically explain it so they needed something that they could manipulate to explain what was happening and religion was created was because they could manipulate it to explain why things were happening. They made it so "God" could do anything so they did not need a scientific explanation.

Soooo, if you say that science only creates war, let us bring up the longest, bloodiest most horrific wars in all of human history. The holy war aka. Crusades. The famous quote God wills it! spoken by wasnt it the pope himself? god willed thousands of solders to go kill and be killed in a war that is in a way still being fought today. Israel. god has caused the most blood shed than any thing else at all. God isnt try to cure aids or cancer, we are. And we do it because evolution has given us highly developed brains. In fact if you god does exist than he is a sick basterd for even giving humans the ability to be so violent.
