The Scorpion is a living creature surrounded by a harsh environment, the desert.The desert represents the harshness of life.The Scorpion needs to adapt and survive.As humans we need to adapt to the streets and confrontations to survive.The Scorpion "sting", is the human self defence mechanism.

Scorpion Martial arts comprises of Hapkido, grappling, kickboxing, Krusho Jitsu pressure point techniques and Chain punch styles.The Lighting fast defence/attack "stings" like the Scorpion..

The benefits of training are both physical and mental.Self confidence and peace of mind are positive factors.

In addition, all classes are self defence and Fitness orientated.

Gregor also uses many Spiritual techniques learned from the Brahma Kumaris .Students not only learn on a physical level, but on a spiritual one. Students learn about themselves on the inner being level, the Soul. When Students identify with this, they become very confident in themselves on a spiritual level and external physical environment.

Starting out in the mid 1970's in Judo, at the PCYC Paddington through to gaining his 1st Degree Blackbelt in Hapkido in March 2001 from Master Fari Salievski (KMA) Korea Hapkido Australia.

In June 2001, gaining international recognition by gaining further 1st degree Blackbelt certification by President Chairman, In Sun Seo.The Korea Ki-do ( Hap ki do ) Association & The World Ki-do ( Hap ki do ) Federation.

On the 25th of November 2006, Gregor completed the "Humane pressure point Tactics", Certificate Level 1 certified by Fab Cella.

On the 11th Feburary 2007, Gregor completed the "Humane pressure point Tactics", Certificate Level 2 certified by Fab Cella.

On the 22nd of November 2008, Gregor gained another, 1st degree Black belt in Kyusho Jitsu, meaning :One second combat" from Fab Cella.(NSW Kyusho Director).

1st Degree Black Belt Certification by Kyusho International Alliance, Grandmaster George A. Dillman (Kyusho Founder) and Professor Steve Stewart (International Director).

On the 20th June 2009, Gregor Engler gained his 2nd Degree Black Belt in Hapkido from Master Fari Salievski.

In 2010, Gregor gained 2nd Degree Black Belt Certification by Kyusho International Alliance, Grandmaster George A. Dillman (Kyusho Founder) and Professor Steve Stewart (International Director).

Gregor has attended numerous seminars with the likes of

-John B Will (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu),

- Professor Steve Stewart (International Director of Kyusho Jitsu)

-Master Julius Melegrito,

-Master Fariborz (Hapkido)

-Master Evan Pantazi (Kyusho Jitsu - one touch pressure point fighting)

-Fab Cella H.P.P.T (Humane Pressure Point Tactics)

and Rick Moneymaker (Torite Jutsu - Pressure points).

Gregor has greatly been influenced by the "above" including the following,

Alex Lambrechts, Henry Perez, Steve Jez, Venant Wong and Peter Romero.

Gregor's surname, "Engler", actually means, "Angel of War".

The "ENGLER", family crest consists of the image of," a hand emerging from the fire, reaching for a golden star".
