Too many to choose from, recently I've read -"I flew for Fuhrer"- diary of the German Luftwaffe fighter pilot Heinz Knoke on Western front of WWII and -"Blond Knight"- about Eric Hartman - ace of the aces from Eastern front. Also, I read recently diary of Lipfert, german pilot who served in the same J-52 with Hartman, but loved airfights. To counter accounts of German pilots on Southern front, I read diary of Russian Il-2 pilot Emelyanenko, IL-2 ace who managed to shoot two ME-109 and one Ju-86, and numerous ground attacks, with one against German Cavalry (400 horses) - amazing war accounts. Those books difficult to read for people not much familiar with the action geography, I am just war history buff, and I do know places there.
