I'm too old to be looking at the teenage pop star thing. But I play drums and that's what brought attention to this video. He's not bad but to call him amazing? Well you can check out other 10 to 12 year old drummers. Now some of them are amazing.

This is my favorite BJ song. Being a drummer I'm sorry to say that I don't can't for his drummer here. He's to much of a crash crash cymbal player in my opinion when it isn't needed. If you watch the version from 1982 at Nassau with Liberty the passion of this song comes through. Just my opinion...

I think the difference with Shania other than she has a fantastic voice is she writes her own material. Not taking away from other artists like martina or trisha but you can really hear the connection with the song that she's singing. I've never seen her live but I hope to someday.

That is so daring to sit in the audience to sing. I applaud her. Especially to sing that well with the noise around her, She's a gem.

ricko, I totally agree. I didn't take up the drums until early twenties and then playing garage bands and wedding bands. I can't play this song. But man his tempo is right on. Love the 16th notes on the HH. He's going to have a strong wrist and forearm.
