Bishop James Brant, Jr. was born on January 22, 1958 to James Sr. and Thelma Brant. He is the third sibling of seven. He made a personal commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ through water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the tender age of nine. He accepted the call of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of nineteen.

Bishop James Brant is the senior pastor of Zarephath Tabernacle in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also the new elected Presiding Prelate of the Church of God and True Holiness, Inc. (www.trueholinesschurches.org)

Bishop James Brant, Jr. has been married to Denise Mallory for 30yrs. They have 8 sons: James III, Lamar, Jerry, Daniel, Timothy (Deceased), David, Steven, Jerome, and Ray.
