Whenever I saw this song on a 45 I bought it. I think I have at least 4-5 copies. A great song in any decade indeed any generation since and forever.

Even better............being an Aussie. I just visited your music channel and note that your likes from the 60's are what I refer to as left field. Songs/some bands that flew into the charts and disappeared from the radio very quickly (blues magoos, procol harem, the allusions etc...

@kaztez I lived over the road from Brian during the 60's and followed his acting career for a while and then he went into obscurity. I have a 45 of Brian singing - a cover of The Beatles' Here there and everywhere. I remember him on Banstand miming a song in the mid 60's. So where is Brian today?

I guess you're feeling sorry for yourself. Do something to brighten up your miserable day and learn to appreciate people for whatever they say, sing or do. But then you probably listen to rap shit music therefore you'll never learn.

@laggie24 Some of us still do. At the club in Sydney last week I was talking to a 60y/o who started to hum a song and then the humming turned into song - this song. Another fantastic memory from my youth in the 60's.

Col Joye, Digger Revell, Lonnie Lee, Johnny Devlin, Little Pattie etc, etc are not there as well!!
