I live in Britain and we couldn't believe some of the comments that were made in the US about universal health care. From a European perspective it seems extraordinary that any modern country doesn't have universal healthcare. It's something we sorted out nearly 70 years ago.

Yeah I remember years ago when the stichting was taking it over from the university. Its changed a lot since then in many ways and is well worth visiting. Really beautiful.

As someone who lives in Europe I do find Americans tend ( though with many exceptions ) to feel that they have a right as individuals to tell other people how to live. You say that Germans stare at each other the whole time. But from the German perspective the Americans and English will not look you in the eye. German people think this is a sign of dishonesty, that you've got something to hide. Looking directly at someone is a sign of honesty. straight dealing.

A very atmospheric video. The Spanish Islands, Majorca, Ibiza etc are also beautiful. Lovely white sandy beaches if you visit Spain again.
