@DenemChikn You make some good points, but I guess my main reasoning is that making music isn't an exact science and Thomas Gold makes awesome music, so I think 'improving on his sound' is more-or-less a moot point.

@916kyle Who cares if something is mainstream or not? If a song is awesome, then it is awesome. Just because something is popular doesn't make it bad.

I think he should focus on playing and get a singer or be in a band. He is obviously a talented pianist, (though a few of the changes were quite poor), but he obviously doesn't have the voice to sing. I am only saying this to help, not to be a troll or anything, but it was painful to hear him sing.

@PadreArnaldo Oh and without this version there wouldn't be Hendrix's, and if Hendrix hadn't of popularised the song with his version then there wouldn't be the myriad of covers there are today. They are both equally good in their own right.
