I like am greatly interested in the works of H.P. Lovecraft and various other late victorian/ealry 20th century writers, I am an amateur writer, I listen to varying degree's of metal (amongst other things).

Interests:
Reading (antiquarian horror, mostly), watching films, writing, being a bastard, listening to music and generally fearing the insignifance of my being in the universe, knowing some sort of eldritch abomination will claim my soul when I die.
Movies:
Jacob's Ladder, Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth, Conan the Barbarian, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Alien, The Mothman Prophecies, Akira, Highlander, Dark City, Nosferatu (1979), Dagon. I am also partial to a bit of anime, such as Afro Samurai, Devil May Cry, Hellsing.
Music:
Metal of varying degrees, such as Septicflesh, Anaal Nathrakh, Rammstein, Cradle of Filth, Bal-Sagoth. I am also a fan of filmmusic, with composers such as Hans Zimmer, Eliot Goldenthal, Danny Elfman. Everything else (meaning non metal) is all fragmented bits and bobs, a few songs, and singularly bizarre tastes.
Books:
Mainly H.P. Lovecraft, but also the works of Robert E. Howard, M.R. James, Edgar Allan Poe, E.F. Benson, various Stephen King stories, Darren Shan's Vampire Saga, Harry Harrison's Deathworld Trilogy and many exceptional individual horror and fantasy novels and short stories.
