Study of theology and philosophy, especially St. Thomas Aquinas, G.K. Chesterton. Study history of the American South, with concentration on the War for Southern Independence and the effects of the results of the war on America's present political, social and economic circumstances: the reducing of the Constitution to a feckless museum piece, the unchecked growth and power of a centralized authority desirous of usurping the sovereignty of the states, and, ipso facto, incrementally robbing the citizenry of their liberty, land and wealth for the Imperial glory and the gain of limited special interests, and other modern day social delights erroneously considered to be "progress."

This is a remembrance of Blossom Dearie who died recently, and I find the song 'I'm Hip' most appropriate as a description of her.

I wish you have another book describing more in-depth these concepts, because, you know, different people have different ideas of clarinet sound, and just a balanced reed may not produce the sound one desires. As I work on the reed I'm getting some ideas from experimenting here and there, but a guide from an expert like you would make the process much less painful :)
By the way I really appreciate the ATG system and the thumb rest. They've helped a lot.

I just bought one of your clarinets for my grandson. Would you do a you tube piece on how you best take advantage of the left thumb placement with regard to your register key? Also, would you do a segment on both hands? I developed issues in my right arm from holding the instrument. I have done a lot of physical therapy and now use a Ton Kooiman thumb rest and a strap. All of these have helped greatly. Still I'm interested in anything you have to say on the subject. Thanks!
I really am looking into buying one but i need to know for sure it is as good as you say it is cause it sounds like it could be my final clarinet and i really need to know not to say i donèt beleive you, i do but i would be greatful for a demenstattion :)
