Life goes by like the blink of an eye.And if you're lucky,you'll get a few good blinks--some Time--and during that very short,finite amount of time we all have in life; "who was good to you?who was There for you?--who Helped you?--who gave you KIndness?who gave you Honesty?-- Sincerity--who really CARED? who really LOVED you?and did you return that Kindness and Love? did you give back? "(THAT is the question)**********bbr******** ***********when i was a little boy,i saw my grandfather looking at some old photos,and crying. i asked,why are you crying?he replied, ;because my heart is broken.i then asked,grandpa,what do you do for this? and my grandfather told me,each time your heart breaks,you stop for a moment,you pick up all of the broken pieces,you hold them close,and then you keep on going down that road, Life...............billy****** *****************************i n this life--we all lose-we all gain-we all need love-we all feel pain************we are all human--and deep inside each 1 of us, is the human spirit ***************(short story) ~~~ once upon a time there was a peaceful,little village.inhabited by kind,gentle people=people of love and respect. a beautiful place. anyway,in this village there was a good man/and there was also a good woman who loved him/ every day,she would try to help him with things. lots of little things.and he, being a bit foolish,didn't always like this.sometimes he felt bothered,and even annoyed,and one day said to her , stop bothering me.i don't need any help with anything ! leave me alone !==the next day,he woke up,like always,and went out into the village/into the day...as the day went on,he found himself thinking about her .he began to miss her. he couldn't stop thinking about her,and he began to look for her all around the village.but she was nowhere to be found...and he had begun to feel bad about what he said to her...this went on for a few days,and then one night,deep within the pitch black,lonely night,he suddenly woke up in a cold sweat...his eyes burned,his hands shook,his mind raced,and his heart ached...and he realized that he loved her...and he knew how totally foolish he had been...and even worse still,he had been unappreciative of Love=the most important and powerful force of all=the one thing worth living and dying for=...and he knew,that at all costs,he must find her=this is my Quest=nothing will delay me=Time ,as always,is of the essence !;=...so he left. he left the little village,to search the world,for her,his 1 true love....he climbed every mountain,he crossed every river,he survived every desert,he sailed across every ocean,and he walked down every road.......but he could not find her.....(yet he still helped others he encountered along the way)...again and again,he searched= time after time , he tried=..i must not give up...keep believing...ever forward...always for Love....and then finally, after years of searching====(and showing kindness to others he met,while never finding what he needed)=years of lonliness,misery,dissappointme nt,and sorrow=and being completely exhausted with despair.... He began his long journey back to the little village of his birth...with his shattered,heavy heart he went .............................. ...Now, on the outskirts of the village,was a little path== and he could not believe his eyes=!!!=there,standing at the beginning of the path,was Her !!!=his Love !!!his Soul Mate!!!......he ran(like the wind) up to her, in extreme excitement and joy,and said, "i was wrong! where were you?! i searched everywhere ! i searched the whole world for you,and could not find you ! why?!."...she then held him close, and said to him, softly and calmly, "you had to search the world to find Yourself....to see the Truth...i was always here...WELCOME HOME,MY LOVE"......(and he thanked God, for he knew that God had helped him complete his journey)...................... .billy.....all writings (c)2008 billybluesrock
