With a resident base of 40,000 (including our three fine institutions of learning), Williamsport is nestled between two ranges of the Bald Eagle Mountains along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Williamsport is the County Seat of Lycoming County, and is the birthplace of Little League Baseball. The City is home to three higher learning institutions: Lycoming College, Pennsylvania College of Technology, and the Newport Business Institute. With a rich history of sports, our city, is proud to host a minor league baseball team, the Crosscutters. They are an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
