I believe the original is not nearly as 'commercial' as the Troggs - that said, I think it is far superior to the Troggs. The Troggs version is like a 'candy bar; to Jordan Christopher's ;Prime Rib'. Lots of people like 'sweets' - more discerning palates take the 'meats'.
