About the Night Creatures

A six piece rockin' blues band, mixed with various other styles and influences, the Night Creatures are difficult to pigeon-hole in a single genre. Mixing classic Hammond organ sounds with saxophone, synthesizer, electric and accoustic guitars, drums, bass, and multi-part vocal harmonies, the 'Creatures' offer something to please most musical ears.

The Night-Creatures is a relatively new band, having only existed since February of '06. However, three of its members have performed together previously in other bands over the years. More recently, additional musicians met at an Orange County nightspot's blues jam night, and musical alliances were formed based on similar interests and ideas. Even more recently, two temporary player slots were filled after several weeks of auditions to find permanent members to fill those roles.

In its short history, the band has performed at several shows with musicians such Rick Derringer, Berlin (featuring Terri Nunn), Martha Davis and the Motels, and most recently with the Flying Other Brothers and G. E. Smith, former guitarist from Hall & Oates, and ex-bandleader from the television show, Saturday Night Live.

The Night Creatures are slated to perform again on Saturday, August 26th, at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA., with the legendary 'Godfather of British Blues', John Mayall, and the Bluesbreakers! Tickets are just $20! Get your tickets at our web site today!
