The day my physics professor proved that we didn't actually exist, I figured all bets were off, from there things only got stranger. I'm a bit unclear as to where and when I am most of the time...let alone "if" I am. Its fun playing about wherever this is and whenever this is, so its all good I suppose.I quite like "critters" as my dearest da calls them.
Critters like me well enough too...which is good as they get rather large and pointy, even when small, sometimes.
I like children of all manner and fortunately they don't know that I am allegedly grown up...so they still play with me too!
I see things that I am sure I probably shouldn't believe exist, mostly because they defy the laws of physics or gravity and we all know that one really shouldn't break the law. However, usually they are too interesting for me to want to incline them to stop being that way.
I think I may be sane...which concerns me greatly at times, but then something reminds me I'm likely quite mad as a hatter and I don't have to take anything too seriously, least of all myself.
I like roaming nature when possible, or even living in it, but likewise I have come to find that hot water on demand and the comforts of the modern time do have their place.
I'm fond of laughing and making others laugh.
I roll down hills on purpose...preferably grassy ones.
I like roaming the streets or nature in the dead of night when it is quiet and still. I like the rain and wander about in it sans the usual umbrella others are so fond of before they blow away...(the umbrellas that is...though occasionally the people do as well).
I love to make jewelry or any form of art that amuses others or makes me feel as if something is pouring out of me, from those intangible spaces beyond, to make things that are lovely or horrific...as long as I wind up feeling giddy in the end.
I love most forms of music and dance.
I like to cook and bake and generally play chemist.
I get homesick more often than I likely should...being as I don't really know where "home" is supposed to be.
I talk to inanimate objects. Up until now none have talked back (or at least few have little to say).
I talk to trees...which my father disapproves of. He doesn't trust the buggers.
I believe in the "Hidden Folk/ Fair Folk"...or they believe in me, I'm not really sure how that works.
And despite all odds I have never been an inpatient at a psychiatric facility! Which is more than I can say for some of my friends...no judgments there, just a note of wonderment.
I come from an old and slightly odd family, who hold traditions too tightly sometimes and not tightly enough at others, but always hold the old beliefs and rules of honor, hospitality and chivalry in high esteem. Which I respect in both those around me and the world as a whole when found to be the case.
I have found that hanging about in trees or upside down to be highly underrated and all too often forgotten once a human has gone and "grown up" (as if that were a decent excuse to stop having fun!)
I believe there are more loving droplets in this world and they are, finally, again forming the puddles to jump in and soon will form streams and rivers and become an unstoppable wave that will water and quench the world.
I hope I am one of them...though occasionally I get the urge to smack someone, but usually for good reason and with no remorse, meaning they really did need a good wallop!
Is that enough rambling about "the cellular conspiracy" that is supposed to be "me"?
