Magic, randomness, random magic, the occult or "darkside", ghosts and things that go bump in the night, time, energy, baseball, folklore, stars, books, Halloween, the outdoors, 70's and 80's music, TV, and assorted media, haunted houses, and basically the whole 20th Century

(These include both vintage or obscure and current shows in no particular order)- The Addams Family, The Munsters, Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot, Ultraman, Mary Tyler Moore, When Things Were Rotten, Carol Burnett, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Barnaby Jones, Kojak, The Rockford Files, Emergency, Sixth Sense (tv show) ,Night Gallery, Rhoda, Are You Being Served?, Benny Hill, Let's Make A Deal, The X-Files, The Osbournes, Cops, Tales From The Darkside, The Twilight Zone, Voltron, Sanford and Son, Goodtimes, The Girls Next Door, Cold Case and True Blood.- My taste in movies is similarly varied and in no order...Ed Wood, both Star Wars trilogies, Close Encounters of The Third Kind, After Hours, Animal House, Forbidden Zone, The Others, Heavy Metal, Videodrome, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, Walk The Line, Nightmare Before Christmas, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Repo Man, 54, Jaws, most Tim Burton, John Waters, and David Lynch movies, anything by Alfred Hitchcock, The Blues Brothers, Zardoz, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Day At The Races, A Night At The Opera, The Seventh Seal, Barbarella, Kenneth Anger's movies

Electronic stuff and music with a harder edge, 70's rock and 80's punk and New Wave, 90's industrial and techno, forgotten torch songs and female singers of the 60's, and anything with an energetic feel.

My all-time favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The rest of my top ten includes the following; The Dealings of Daniel Kesserich by Fritz Leiber, anything by H.P. Lovecraft, Come Along With Me by Shirley Jackson, The House On The Borderland by William Hope Hodgson, any collection by M.R. James, Arthur Machen, Robert Bloch, August Derleth, From The Dust Returned by Ray Bradbury, collections from Clark Ashton Smith, Frederic Brown, Guy De Maupassant, Stephen King and Mary E. Wilkins-Freeman, Yesterday and Tomorrow by Jules Verne, Echoes From The Macabre by Daphne du Maurier, and the childrens books by Maria Leach and also L. Frank Baum.
