Grupo Compay Segundo

THE CD
In the summer of 2007 Grupo Compay Segundo and an Italian symphonic orchestra re-recorded the band's songs adding the beauty of classical arrangement to their popular exotic sound.
The orchestra was composed of 45 elements, including the Italian conductor Stefano Mazzoleni, the guitarist Massimo Scattolin and the tenor Francesco Grollo.
Along with Compay Segundo's masterpieces like Chan Chan, the CD also includes the latin classics Perfidia and Besame Mucho.
