Thank you so much for your McGinn uploads, it was time and effort on your part and well spent in my opinion. I must be one of the few younger Glaswegians (I'm 27) who was raised on this firebrand's melodies from a very young age by both my parents (despite the fact that they divorced when I was 3, one thing they both shared was their McGinnophilia). Do you have a recording of Matt's "Blue Doo" and one that I heard him do in Greenock's Arts Guild "Farewell to Arran". I used to back him (whenever he performed in Greenock or Port Glasgow and the Watt College Folk Club as well as at The Crazy Daisy in Glasgow) also, Big Hamish Imlach, Danny Kyle, Alistair McDonald and many others in the mid to late 70s. {Quote} --- There once was a doo, Noo this doo it was blue, It had hurtit its beak, while stabbin a doad O' hard bread ---etc.

Matt died the year I was born but I heard all his material via my late dad in my early years. Matts legacy will never die !! The videos are superb !!
