Bounce TV is showing a movie called Straight Line that is supposedly edited from this show. It must be from Season 2 as the scene in the intro where the boy is pulled to the light by the policeman is in the movie. This movie isn't even mentioned on wikipedia. Got any info?

I think Dunst sings on the first Coconut Records album - Jason Schwartzman's music. I thought NIMH rhymes with 'him'. It is a pretty dark movie that stuck with me. Really beautiful animation and great Jerry Goldsmith score.

I have been a Decemberists fan for a long time. There are some great songs, but a few are lackluster on King. How do you view the rest of their discography? As far as Folk influenced rock, the Fleet Foxes record was great - this coming from someone who thought their debut was overhyped.

Just bought the SE DVD at Big Lots! for $3. Interesting that they have a still from the couple/spear scene that is virtually non existant in the edited movie.

Idiocracy by Mike Judge comes to mind first. Another movie I just became aware of, Out Cold, starring John Lithgow, Teri Garr, and Randy Quaid as a somewhat idiotic PI. I think it's pretty good, but unfortunately there only seems to be a Full Screen release.

I find Discoverer pretty bland, but it was interesting that they had it come back on the last track. I think the record would have gotten a better push if track 2 was released first. I wonder how much more attention it would have gotten if they made the break up announcement before.

Cool! I have read about some deleted scenes on IMDB. I know This TV was showing both movies pretty frequently for a while, but I didn't watch to see if the different scenes were in it. I would really like to find the soundtrack on vinyl/CD.

I really like him as the dad. Honestly, I expected him to be in poor health by now so this is great. So did he actually clear up what happened at the end? The audio is hard to follow at times.
