I've only done a few launch and retrievals and take extreme care to prevent this happening - and yet having said that, I'm not even sure HOW such a thing happens? I presume once the back wheels get wet the handbrake doesn't work? What we do at the local ramp is launch by rope, ie unhook the trail...
