About this user

Hi, I'm Jim, a very versatile and committed bass player from Wolverhampton. I have worked with many different groups, both live and in the studio, and offer my services as a reliable and flexible session bassist. I am available for work in any musical style, nationwide and at short notice and can be expected to provide my own complete bass rig, guitars, effects and transport.

Experience:

Currently working with such groups as Wolverhampton based Pink Floyd experience Darkside, the covers band Divine Brothers and most recently Latin/Jazz Drum & Bass band The Torre Bert Quartet.

Have worked alongside producers Pedro y el Lobo and Fantastic Mr Fox, U.S. hip hop trio elevatedSOUL, the progressive jazz outfit Fast Idiots, acoustic duo The Buzz, singer/songwriter Aaron Yorke and mastered the Blues with the Archer-Marriott Band and electro/acoustic group Remnants.

Founding member of the pioneering Space Jazz Afro Funk ensemble that is Paper Tiger.
