My name is Matthew and I am currently in my Second year of University, doing a Business and Information Technology degree, which I am fully enjoying. University life is great I would recommend it to anyone, even though the price is dear, but a great achievement both mentally and physically. Not just for the outcomes of the degree but the experience as a whole.

My main hobbies are Computers, Music and going out with my friends. As I am doing an I.T degree I enjoy all aspects of computers. I play the guitar in my spare time and some videos of me playing are online.

Where as IT is concerned, I have experience from building computer software and hardware to using specialist software. In my spare time, I'm constantly doing things to my computers to make sure they are running at their optimum performance or upgrading their guts.

I have experience with databases, both Microsoft access and Oracle and not just the UI but with MySql coding as well. I also have moderate understanding for the language of HTML and PHP. All in which, have been combined together to create programs including mysql. In my second year of University, HTML and CSS was a major influence to my module, as I have to build two website pretty much single handily. (One of which is actually going to be live, will post links when it is finished.)

I also play the guitar; both electric and acoustic. I have been for over 9 years and I am very keen to be in a band but nobody ever seems to have the time. I play purely for leisure at the moment and it helps me to relax when I get stressed. I also enjoy recording covers of myself and I am in the process of sorting out some better quality recording equipment to assist me in this. (Stay tuned).
