I think his character will be back at some point. I really don't see why spend an entire episode developing his character, only to kill him at the end.

I can def see a Jericho/Punk fued heading into wrestlemania. I think that will be an amazing fued between 2 great workers, both in the ring and on the mic. Hopefully they are aloud to go out there and go balls to the wall and deliver some awesome promos together.
